In the middle of the pandemic landlords violently attempted to forcefully evict tenants and displace them onto the street, and many LATU locals formed rapid response committees to get tenants back into their homes, make public these aggressions on working class tenants, and organize neighbors to defend their communities. This workshop will bring together LATU members with the public to discuss how these committees were victorious and how our locals continue to defend our communities.
