  • 400 W Washington Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90015. The entrance will be on Grand Avenue.

  • Simultaneous interpretation will be provided during the plenaries and panels for English, Spanish, and Portuguese speakers. ASL interpretation will also be provided during plenaries and panels.

  • All participants must be vaccinated and present a vaccination card or proof of a negative COVID test within 72 hours upon arrival. See COVID-19 protocols here.

    All participants must wear masks indoors. Masks may be removed while actively eating or drinking and while outdoors. There will also be exceptions made for panelists, speakers, and performers while on stage to ensure they can be heard and understood.

    California Department of Public Health recommends wearing a mask with a good fit and filtration. This includes surgical masks and respirators like N95s, KN95s, and KF94s.

    We will provide free masks for any participant who needs one.

  • The Culinary Arts building and Liberal Arts building, where programming will be taking place, are equipped with multiple wheelchair accessible entrances and elevators.

    Outdoor areas, where the Art Tent, Vendor Tent, and Food Vendors are located, are on flat, paved surfaces.

    There is an incline path that provides access to the soccer field where the concert performances will be viewed.

    Amplified sound will be used during all programming.

    ASL interpretation will also be provided during plenaries and panels.

  • This is a free event, however, all participants must be registered. Register here. Same-day registration will be allowed. We are also accepting donations upon registration.

  • FROM THE SANTA MONICA FREEWAY (10) EAST, exit on Grand Ave., turn right, continue to college.

    FROM THE SANTA MONICA FREEWAY (10) WEST, exit on Los Angeles Street to 17th Street, turn left on Grand Ave., continue to college.

    FROM THE HARBOR FREEWAY (110) NORTH, exit on Adams Blvd., turn right to Grand Ave. and left to college.

    FROM THE HARBOR FREEWAY (110) SOUTH, exit on Adams Blvd., turn left on 23rd Street, turn left to Grand Ave, and turn left to college.

  • Los Angeles Trade-Tech College is widely accessible through public transit.

    Metro A Blue Line - get off at the Grand/LATTC stop. Walk down Washington Blvd towards Grand Ave. Turn right on Grand Ave. Keep walking until the next stop light and the entrance will be on the right.

    Metro E Expo Line - get off at the LATTC/Ortho Institute stop. Walk up Flower street towards 23rd. Turn right onto 23rd onto Los Angeles Trade-Tech College.

    Metro J Line (Silver) 910 - get off at the Figueroa/23rd stop. Walk down 23rd street towards Flower street one block and you will arrive at Los Angeles Trade-Tech College.

    Metro bus 40 - get off at the Broadway/Washington stop. Walk up Washington Blvd towards Grand Ave. Turn Left on Grand Ave. Keep walking until the next stop light and the entrance will be on the right.

    Metro bus 94 - get off at the Hill/5th stop. Walk down Hill Street towards Washington Blvd. Turn right onto Washington Blvd. Turn left onto Grand Ave. Keep walking until the next stop light and the entrance will be on the right.

    Metro bus 4 - Get off at the Venice/Broadway stop. Walk up Venice towards Hill Street. Turn left on Hill Street. Keep walking, and then turn right onto Washington Blvd. Turn left onto Grand Ave. Keep walking until the next stop light and the entrance will be on the right.

    Dash bus D - Get off at the Grand/Washington stop. Walk down Grand Ave towards 23rd Street. Keep walking until the next stop light and the entrance will be on the right.

    Motorcycles and Mopeds parking is restricted to motorcycle/moped parking area.

    LATTC and People’s Summit assumes no responsibility or liability for your car or its contents while parked in the lots.

  • Bike racks are located throughout campus. Bikes must be walked on campus.

  • Donations can be made here. We will also be accepting cash, online, and app donations throughout the event.

  • Yes, the event is family-friendly.

  • Free coffee, tea, and water service will be made available throughout the program. There will be a number of food trucks, vendors, and carts on campus selling food throughout all three days of the event. Participants are also welcome to bring their own snacks, drinks, and meals, or to leave campus to purchase food.

  • Lost and found will be in the first floor of the Culinary Building.

  • Yes. There is free Wi-Fi on the campus.

  • Los Angeles climate is typically dry with very little rain. In June, Los Angeles climate becomes even warmer, drier and with long daylight hours. The average temperature hovers around 75°F and 81°F. Please stay hydrated.

  • Designated smoking areas for the LATTC Campus are specified on the site map. You are in violation of Assembly Bill AB846 if you smoke within 20 feet of main entrances, exits, and operable windows of any building owned, leased, and occupied by the state, county, or city, and buildings of the University of California (UC), California State University (CSU), and California community colleges. (Those in violation may be issued a citation for the violation).

  • No. Marijuana is strictly prohibited on the campus.

  • Yes, certain portions of the program will be available on livestream platforms. We will post and share links in the days leading up to the event.
